- There is a cafe in Sarawak that draw all races to have their food there. Although from outside it looks like a typical Chinese coffee shop, however when we see inside the cafe, there is a makcik operating her stall and getting the Malays to eat there. You can read it here.

- For me, this is great example of 1 Malaysia spirit. Since that Malaysian is passionate about their food, we can use food as a tool to unite the Malaysian. That is what this shop owner try to accomplish. Kueh Fah Cafe owner Lo Kien Chai, 41, said when he opened the shop 19 years ago, he intended to serve a wide variety of dishes that catered to a multiracial community.
- What's more encouraging is the food is halal and they don't even serve non-halal food.
- This is definately an act to follow. Instead of complaining what the governement can do or supposed to do, the shop owner certainly made a few steps ahead by implementing this style. Hopefully this cafe can generate profits and certainly could also foster good relationship between Malaysian especially those who lives in Kuching, Sarawak.
- I will certainly look for this cafe when i have a trip to Sarawak in future times Insyaallah.
