Tribute to Steve Jobs

• Yesterday was a sad day for me. One of my idol Steve Jobs left us because of cancer.I started to become his real fan a few years ago when he introduced iphone that created a big "huh-hah" in the market.
  
  



• It is clear that Steve is real genius. A genius for all. He's "app" in iphone & ipad was simple and easy to use. Even my parents (who were not so savvy with computers) and my daughter can use the products. Looking at how he build the brand is also quite interesting. His philosophy is simple, "Cheap Things are not good and Good Thing are not Cheap.





• I also found his Commencements speech in 2005 at Stanford University in "Youtube" and I simply think that this speech is very-very good in providing a clear example on how graduates can do after their Uni years. He stressed 3 main story which is connecting the dots, love and loss and life and death.





• According to him, connecting the dots is like you are ready are to accept your life destiny. He said " You have to trust in something, be it guts, destiny, life, karma, whatever". For me as Muslim, we had already installed it into us from the moment we know how to pray.





• He added that love and loss also played a big part in his success. He said that "I was a very public failure and i even thinking of leaving the valley, but something began slowly began to dawn on me, i still love what i do". I tend to agree to this as to be successful, you need to do extra ordinary things and extraordinary thing doesn't come easy.

• The other story he told was about life and death. He said " Remembering that you are going to die is the best way i know to avoid the trap of thinking that you have something to lose". He is absolutely right. That is why in Islam we were told that life is temporary and there is a life in hereafter.

• For me Steve Jobs deserved to be respected for his achievements. Plus, his philosophy is also note worthy. Rest in peace dear friend. May god have mercy on you soul.

Paper Presentation at ISTEC

• Yesterday, i went to ISTEC - International Institute of Islamic Thoughts and Civilization for my Paper presentation.

• When i got into the entrance door, i saw this beautiful portrait hanged at the wall majestically.

• I was stunned with the beautiful architecture of the venue. It is like in the age of medieval. Just look at the picture above, the stage's backdrop was also stunning right?




• Look at the top side of the hall, it's like a castle.



• When i walked outside, i saw this fountain. How i wish this could be my office!!!

• Finally i got this for my presentation...:-)

Do we really need a Techinical Advisor for Harimau Malaya????

• I am puzzled by the move from FAM to hire a new "Technical Advisor" (TA) for our beloved Harimau Malaya football team.


• The idea of having this so called TA is to monitor the progress of Harimau Malaya team and to find the real reason on why this team is not performing consistently.


• I personally believe that there is no-what-so-ever reasons for them to appoint anybody as TA for our team as we have done it before. For me they don't really contribute to the progress of our football team and even if we have them, our standings are not that good either.


• Just because we didn't make it to the 3rd round of World Cup qualifying matches, everybody now thinks that some one should do something to save our football team so that they won't make the same mistake again. Some even ask our Dato' Rajagopal to resign.


• I know that we are all frustated when we lost the match againts our arch rival Singapore but for me, the best thing that we could do is to develop the players. It's because the players will determine whether you win or you lose a game, not the TA and also maybe not the coach. They (TA & coach) can guide you but in the end the players will have to prove it.


• We do have great coach coach like Pual Le Roy, Allan Harris and a few more who is a world class coach. Paul Le Roy has been into 4 or more World Cup competition with different teams and Allen Harris is a "Side-kick" for Terry Venables who is one of the most successful English coach in their history. What i am trying to imply here is that we can have great coaches, but if the player is not good, it will also not do any good to our football team.


• Developing a player is not an easy task. It takes time and afford to see it bear fruits. Look at Spain. 7 of their main players plays for Barcelona and look at how Barcelona plays their final Champions League game against Manchester United. Their brand of football is awesome!! the passing is so fluid even a great team like MU struggles to find the possession and played like a school boy. It is understood that these players have been playing together since they were 17 and they continue playing until today and eventually win the World Cup.


• As a conclusion, i think we don't need to over react went we lost a game or a match. What we can do is to understand the problem and find the solutions for us to over come it. If we still need to appoint a TA for our team, it must be done for a long term basis as he will be the focal point of reference for our future coach and become the advisor to FAM.


• I got a feeling that our current Harimau Malaya squad is our new "Golden Generation" team. So we do need to take extra care of them.

Surat kepada Dato' Ambiga

Kepada Dato' Ambiga yang dihormati,

Saya memohon sangatlah agar demo bersih 2.0 yang diketuai oleh Dato' di tukarkanlah ke tarikh yang lain. Ini kerana adik saya Arenis Wanies mahu melangsungkan pertunangannya dengan Sapuan Arshad pada tarikh keramat berkenaan.

Sekiranya Dato' masih juga mahu meneruskan hajat Dato' maka ada kemungkinan adik saya dan tunangnya terpaksa pula menunda pertunanganya ke tarikh yang lain. Ini kerana mereka khuatir akan keselamatan keluarga mereka yang akan melalui pusat bandar KL dimana kesemua peserta-perserta ini akan membuat demo bersih 2.0 yang diketuai Dato'.

Malangnya, jika perkara ini masih mahu diteruskan, maka sedihlah saya kerana telah bertungkus lumus menyediakan semua kelengkapan untuk majlis berkenaan. Isteri saya juga turut sedih kerana telah 3 hari 3 malam tak tidur menyiapkan barang hantaran adik saya.

Sehubungan dengan itu, saya mohon sangatlah agar Dato' mempertimbangkan permintaan rakyat biasa seperti saya ini.

• Sorry guys, i have to say that Sam really did well in singing that song.....probably in this era, there were none of this people existed such as Nsync, Boyzone, O-town, Blue and the rest. So the girls resort to Bieber instead....(that is not a good scene)

5 Sebab Kenapa Perempuan Kena Bertudung

1. Perempuan Nampak cantik bertudung - Mungkin orang perempuan akan kata, alah nak bodek pompuan laa tu…tapi semenjak aku remaja lagi, ramai lelaki yang aku kenal suka sangat dengan perempuan bertudung. LEBIH CANTIK katanya. Aku mula-mula aku tak percaya sangat dengan apa yang diorang kata nie. Tapi kita orang ada buat research sendiri untuk membuktikn hipotesis ini betul. Dulu-dulu kitorang ada sorang kawan pompuan Anita (of course bukan nama sebenar) namanya. Dia taklah cantik sangat. Tak pakai tudung pun mulanya dan ramai kawan lelaki yg lebih kejam dari aku kata dia takde apa-apa yang istimewa pun….(kejam punya member)….Awek nie coursemate aku dan dia pada pandangan aku seorang yang baik dan ramah. Walaubagaimanapun, dia takdela mendapat perhatian istimewa dari makhluk yang bernama leleki. Satu hari yang indah, Anita pun ke kelas dengan mengenakan tudung hijau muda dengan baju kurung yang sama. Lebih best lagi, dia datang lambat gi kelas, mungkin jugak rezeki dia hari tu pintu bilik kuliah kat belakang terkunci dan hanya boleh masuk kat pintu depan jer…dan bila dia masuk semua mata pun mamandang (termasuk sekali lecturer aku masa tuh…….hehehehehe) dan seolah-olah masa itu terhenti seketika. Pada masa tu aku pun tak terlintas yang gadis istimewa itu adalah Anita. Selepas beberapa ketika dan apabila kelas disambung semula, aku pun mula sedar yang gadis tadi adalah Anita. Dengan rasa tak malunya aku pun cuba meninjau-ninjau sama ada benarkah itu Anita. Bila sahaja aku dapat melihat wajahnya, confirm memang benar ia Anita. Anita memang cantik bertudung pada hari itu. Dengar-dengarnya lepas tu dia pun ada BF lepas tu…. So kesimpulanya, Bertudung juga boleh meningkatkan keterampilan kita dan bagi perempuan, ia memang boleh mempercantikan diri mereka. Percayalah…


2. Mengelakkan Fitnah dan Sangka Buruk - Salah satu sebab kenapa sekarang lebih ramai wanita muslim bertudung adalah bertujuan untuk mengelakkan fitnah. Kita selalu dengar kalau perempuan itu bertudung (walaupun kadang-kadang mempunyai perangai tak senonoh) tetap dipandang tinggi oleh masyarakat. Kalau pompuan tu tak bertudung, pantang ada cerita buruk sikit jer….terus lekat sampai bila-bila….(kesian memang kesian tapi itulah hakikatnya). Tak dapek den nak nolong....


3. Memudahkan untuk Mendapat Jodoh Yang Baik - Kata orang tua-tua rezeki & jodoh nie terletak di tangan tuhan. Tapi ramai yang tak sedar yang kalau kita langsung tidak berusha, mana laaa nak dantang rezeki dan jodoh tuuu….betul tak? Memang benar Rezeki & Jodoh adalah perancangan Allah tapi, kita pula tidak perlu berpeluk tubuh dan berharap rezeki kita jatuh dari langit. Berbalik kita kepada isu bertudung, by the rule of thumb (secara kebiasaannya dalam bahasa melayu yang dipermudahkan) kalau seseorang lelaki yang baik itu mestilah mencari jodohnya yang bertudung litup untuk dijadikan suri dalam hidupnya. Melaikan kalau dia memang sengaja nak pilih perempuan tidak bertudung untuk ditarbiahkan. Itu aku salute. Tapi macam saya kata rule of thumb nya kalau lelaki tu alim & warak…selalunya dia akan cari perempuan yang sudah bertudung. Ini biasalaa kan????


4. Memudahkan Urusan Penjagaan Rambut - Ramai yang mungkin tak berapa setuju dengan statement ini tapi hakikatnya memang benar. Kalau kita pakai tudung, secara otomatiknya dia tidak perlu mewarnakan rambutnya, memblow rambutnya dan tidak perlu susah-susah untuk perti set rambutnya untuk keluar kemajlis-majlis rasmi hehehehehehe. Jimat lagi kan?????...so pakai jer laaa tudung….:-).....mesti pengeluar shampoo kat Malaysia nie marah kat aku ......hahahahahahahaha


5. Mendapat Pahala - Sebagai orang Islam, kita (orang perempuan laa) wajib pakai tudung dan dapat pahala. Itu sahaja. Faham tak??...;-P

Opera Hidup by WINGS

• Lama dah tak layan lagu rock......bila sekali sekali layan terangkat beb.....Sebenarnya aku nak testing upload youtube punya video dalam blog aku nie...hahahahahaha...berjaya nampaknya....;-P


• Mana peginya band-band macam nie kan??? maybe diorang dah tak dengar lagu-lagu macam nie....diorang dengar lagu Justin Bieber jer...wuuuuueeekkkkkkk......


• Satu lagi yang aku perasan, band indon pun takleh bertahan macam diorang nie....tu belum kira lagi band ORKES NIRWANA kita....wakakakakakakakaka....."alangkah sedihnya haaatiku, param-param" lebih dari 30 tahun you.....


• Ini barulah muzik...ada orang menyanyi, ada orang main gitar dan drum....bukannya soh mesin yang main/buat semua itu...


• Mungkin aku dah tua kot......statement aku pun dah bunyi macam mak dengan bapak aku cerita zaman kegemilangan lagu pop yeh-yeh dulu....mungkin juga aku dah tua.....
